Product Overview
The DSHL Conical Screw Mixer uses a gentle three-dimensional convective mixing motion for powders, granules, fibers and powder-liquid blends. Its conical vessel helps lift and circulate material while reducing residue during discharge.
Applications
It is suitable for chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, compound fertilizers, dyes, pigments, rubber, building materials, food, feed, fine chemicals, minerals, ceramics, refractory materials and metal powders. The gentle mixing action is suitable for fragile, heat-sensitive, fine or mixed-density materials.
Working Principle
The internal screw lifts material upward while the outer ribbon moves material toward the centre. Material streams merge and circulate through the cone, creating continuous convection and uniform blending. Optional liquid spraying supports powder-liquid mixing.
Structural Features
Gear reducer drive mounted on the vessel cover.
Conical vessel for fast discharge and reduced dead zones.
Inspection, cleaning, feeding and maintenance openings can be configured.
Manual, pneumatic or electric discharge valves are available.
