I. Overview of the Ribbon Mixer
The ribbon mixer consists of a U-shaped container, a ribbon-shaped mixing blade, and transmission components. The ribbon-shaped blade is generally made of double or triple layers. The outer layer of ribbons collects materials from both sides towards the center, while the inner layer of ribbons transports materials from the center towards both sides, forming convection mixing. The ribbon mixer has good effects on mixing viscous or cohesive powder particles, as well as mixing powder particles with liquid and paste materials. The cylinder cover can be made into a fully open door, facilitating cleaning and changing products for the equipment.
II. Operating Principle
The horizontal ribbon mixer utilizes inner and outer diameter ribbons mounted on the mixing shaft to agitate the material inside the barrel, ensuring the mixer maximizes the range of material movement within the barrel. In terms of the mixer's structure, the ribbons are designed to be complementary, with the inner ribbon driving the material near the shaft center to rotate around the axis and pushing from the inside to the sides axially, while the outer ribbon drives the material near the barrel wall to rotate around the axis and pushing from the sides to the inside axially. This creates convection and circulation of the material within the barrel, facilitating shear mixing, thereby achieving rapid and uniform mixing of the material in a relatively short period of time.
III. Application Fields
It is widely used in various fields such as food, pesticides, chemical industry, veterinary medicine, aquaculture, and new materials. It can mix powders with powders and powders with liquids, especially capable of mixing paste-like, viscous, or high-specific-gravity materials (such as putty, real stone paint, metal powder, and other products).

1. This machine is a horizontal cylinder with a unique structure featuring two layers of spiral belts inside and outside. It operates smoothly, is reliable in quality, produces low noise, has a long service life, and is easy to install and maintain. With various agitator structures, the horizontal ribbon mixer is not affected by the size and density of particles in terms of mixing efficiency.
2. The mixing speed is fast and the mixing uniformity is high, especially for viscous materials. A scraper can be installed on the spiral belt, which also achieves good mixing results for viscous materials.
3. Under the mixing requirements for different materials (special materials must be cleaned before each mixing), different spiral belt structures are adopted, and a jacketed type that can be heated and dried is used.
4. The forward and reverse rotating spiral strips are installed on the same horizontal shaft, forming a low-power and efficient mixing environment. The smooth mixing process reduces the damage to fragile materials. The addition of a flying knife structure also serves the function of crushing, and a liquid spray system can also be installed to better mix liquids and powders evenly.
5. A removable cleaning door can also be installed on the horizontal machine body for user cleaning. The overall height of the equipment is relatively low, making it easy to install.

3. High loading rate and strong sealing performance
Based on different material characteristics, the barrel body can be designed as O-shaped or U-shaped, with a maximum loading capacity of 65% of the material. For ultra-fine powder, a composite sealing structure combining airtightness and packing is adopted, which can greatly improve the sealing life and effectiveness. For slurry with good fluidity, a mechanical seal can be configured to meet the mixing requirements under various working conditions.
4. High non-standardity
